December 8, 2010

First I apologize for taking so long to update this blog!  'Tis the season!   (:

Bob is improving.  He is eating by mouth each day.  Last night he had a great dinner.  He has to take his time and drink a lot of water.  At this point the salivary gland that is supposed to come back is still not "back" so his mouth is very dry.

We made our annual trek to NYC for 2 nights and had a great time.

We surprised the girls with a visit from our dear friends Lili and Emma.   They live in Brooklyn and made the subway trip to see us.   They met us at the hotel shortly after we arrived.

Our group  went to dinner ---Bob ate some retaurant food---- and  then on to Rockefeller Center to see "The Tree".

Check out the crowd!!!  YIKES!  We could hardly walk forward.

It was time for Emma and Lili to go home...):

The next morning on our way to breakfast  we walked back to  see "The Tree" in daylight...MUCH less crowded.

After breakfast on to see The Christmas Spectacular...the girls had NO idea we were going.... and before you think I broke the photo rules they said we couldn't use flash photography during the performance  and I didn't...these photos came out pretty well....  We had AWESOME seats which helped to quality of the photos!

And this show is  TRULY SPECTACULAR!

Back to the hotel, grabbed some "street hot dogs" and it was nap time.

We went to Family night at the University Club that night.

Please check this post  again......I am having trouble uploading photos and I'm tired of fussing with it...back to bed for me!!!!

Ok let's try this again...

We went to Family Night at the University Club after our nap...

We sang Christmas carols  with the Glee Club...

Santa came for  visit...

When we came home the next day we had quite a surprise!  SNOW...and  quite a bit of it.
Chloe loves it...

I think I see an "agility dog" emerging!

That's all for now.  (:
